Scottish artist Katie Paterson's Future Library project is growing a forest to publish 100 new written works, none of which will be read until the forest is cut down and made into paper in 2114 (link via Book Patrol); The Vespasian Warner Public Library in Clinton, Illinois had a book bearing an inscription from Abraham Lincoln in general circulation for decades (link via Fine Books & Collections); Hard Case Crime is releasing a lost hard-boiled novel from film director Sam Fuller (in their usual gorgeous retro-pulp packaging); A horror story from the second hand book trade of an ignorant seller not giving sleaze paperbacks their due (link via Jot101)
